Ever since doing my swap, I have been a basketcase over every sound, movement, gauge, everything. Obviously my car is a totally different animal from where it was, and that is a two-sided coin. I used to love driving my NA ... I was very comfortable with it and its powerband (NA haters need not apply). I KNEW where I was at any given moment, and was very comfortable with how it drove. Now, I'm totally lost. Granted, I know if I plant my foot, the car will go like a bat outta hell ... but that also makes me more cautious in turns, etc. I know that its all a learning curve, but like these guys have said .. its all a compromise on how much is enough. I know I'll get used to the turbos, and probably at some point go somewhat larger. But I can't imagine ever wanting a 600 hp streetcar. Just no point to it. Sometimes I do miss the familiarity of my little NA.
